Vanta's release claims are based on executed operator stories, not feature inventory alone.

Current executed proof​

  • A real model read the project README, made a scoped file change, and read it back.
  • Corpus ingest recalled the written artifact with source and freshness evidence.
  • A parent delegated one bounded README task to one worker and received its result.
  • The notarized macOS app completed real chat and blocked a destructive terminal command at the kernel boundary; v0.9.5 passes the current source-plus-packaged desktop flow suite.
  • A clean ~/vanta install ran under launchd, fired a provider-free task, and completed an authenticated Codex agent task unattended.
  • The cold-start scenario distinguished ready workflows from account-dependent setup before acting.
  • The cited-research scenario used bounded parallel decomposition and three primary sources, then reported a skeptic pass and unresolved uncertainty.
  • The CLI/TUI captured a real 3024x1964 Retina screen and a visual model returned the required SIGHT_OK landscape marker.
  • Desktop ingested native text, image, and mixed clipboard content, retained image context after a failed send, and cleared it after successful submission.

Regression proof​

  • 13,584 TypeScript tests passed across 1,456 files; 3 skipped.
  • 70 Rust kernel tests passed.
  • Typecheck, architecture boundaries, desktop production build, and production dependency audit passed.
  • The 36-capture Ghost visual matrix passed at three viewport widths in light and dark mode.
  • Packaged cold-start regression uses the median of three fresh-profile launches; every launch must also remain below the independent 10-second hard ceiling.

The public notarized v0.9.5 desktop build adds Sight, native image clipboard context, graph engineering v1, and the current source-plus-packaged flow proof. Its DMG checksum is b1c97ecd59bc8c37a6d2c843e81d4a74f44c75cf4a7f9bdb8a0e46594554f122; Apple accepted notarization submission efcb15b4-60f0-4d0f-b5e6-a4d602d796e2, and the exact public download passed checksum, staple, signature, quarantine, and Gatekeeper verification on a clean hosted Mac in run 29777875809.

The signed app's capture contracts are automated, but a successful visual-model answer from the packaged bundle remains an external proof until macOS Screen Recording access is granted to studio.theft.vanta. The clipboard proof covers the native bridge and renderer paste path, not operating-system Command-V delivery. Third-party credentials, physical devices, provider accounts, and the fresh non-developer desktop study remain separate external acceptance gates.
